Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026
PageShare.ai helps you upload, publish, protect, update, and analyze static web pages. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication identifiers.
- Content you upload or publish, including HTML files, ZIP bundles, assets, site names, slugs, hosted URLs, versions, access settings, custom domains, and tracking-link labels.
- Visitor access data needed to protect a site, such as password-protection settings, email addresses and domains you add to allowlists, and visitor email addresses when you enable email-based access or visitor email collection.
- Usage and analytics data for hosted pages, such as individual page visits, view counts, paths, referrers, tracking-link context, country, region, city, postal code, metro code, timezone, continent, Cloudflare data center, approximate latitude/longitude, network/ASN information, scroll depth, active time, and clicked links when analytics features are enabled.
- Billing and plan information processed through Stripe, such as plan status and subscription identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Support and feedback messages you send to us.
- Technical logs and security data, such as IP addresses, request metadata, cookie or session identifiers, error details, device/browser information, and abuse-prevention signals.
How We Use Information
- To provide PageShare features, including hosting, publishing, versioning, access protection, custom domains, analytics, MCP/CLI/API access, and account management.
- To authenticate users, prevent abuse, secure the service, debug errors, and maintain reliability.
- To process subscriptions, manage plans, and provide customer support.
- To improve PageShare and understand how the service is used.
How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us operate PageShare, including hosting, authentication, payments, email delivery, analytics, observability, security, and customer support providers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Current service providers may include Cloudflare for hosting, storage, networking, security, and Turnstile abuse prevention; Clerk for authentication; Stripe for billing; Sentry for error monitoring; and email infrastructure for support and visitor-access messages.
Connected Apps And MCP Clients
If you connect PageShare to ChatGPT, Claude, another MCP client, or an API client, information returned by PageShare tools may be visible to that client and processed under that client's terms and privacy policy. Only connect clients you trust.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide PageShare, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Published sites and related metadata remain until you delete them, they expire, or we remove them under our policies. When a page expires, it may stop serving publicly before all related records, logs, backups, or billing records are deleted from our systems. Individual analytics visit records remain until the related site is deleted or removed under our policies.
Your Choices
- You can update or delete hosted sites, versions, access settings, tracking links, and custom domains from your PageShare account.
- You can choose whether a site is public, password-protected, or restricted by email/domain allowlists when those features are available.
- You can disconnect MCP/API clients by removing their access or signing out where supported.
- You can contact us to request help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account information.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict certain processing of personal information.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please avoid uploading secrets, API keys, payment-card numbers, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive data unless you are sure the page should contain it.
Children
PageShare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as PageShare changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice appropriate to the change.
